The most important work you will do– being at the feet of Jesus, listening to Him and fellowshipping with Him.
Why a person should work hard and do a good job:
-Praise (do it for God)
-Personal Responsibility (see 2 Thess. 3:10-12)
-Prosperity and Generosity (As God pours it in, you pour it on others)
-Purpose/Passion
The Key: Understanding and appreciating the balance and interaction between these reasons.

-Discerning enough to explain and distinguish (especially with difficult people)
Our Father’s Heart…
Easter Sunday – Into The Tomb
Notes:
We all have “issues.”
4 Categories of Issues
-Dirty (filth, embarrassing)
-Decaying (falling apart)
-Dark (secret)
-Denying (binding)
All lead to Death.
Consider 2 guys, Nick & Joe (Nicodemus & Joseph of Arimathea)
Now backtrack to the story of Lazarus:
Consider Martha’s Issues:
-Disappointment
-Death
Lazarus is dead. Jesus calls him from Death to leave the tomb.
Are you going to let Jesus into your tomb?
Palm Sunday - Prophet, Priest & King

John 12:12-28
Notes:
What is the greatest need in your life here, now today?
-Air to breathe
Reality:
-Observable
-Measurable
-Verifiable
Perspective:
-experience/perception
-expectations
The text in context… the obvious conclusion?
-Jesus is a religious, political, military leader.
Luther: Three-fold office… prophet, priest, king.
Definitions:
-Prophet: mouthpiece, spokesperson
-Priest: mediator, facilitator
-King: CEO, boss
Purposes:
-Prophet: brings insight & revelation to his followers

-King: provides for, protects, provides direction
Is Jesus your prophet, priest and king?

Peace that passes all human understanding
Think it. Do it.
Grace…
