Reasons for the development of written scripture:
Inspiration – These writing were inspired by God’s Holy Spirit
Heresy – to silence heretics and heresy
Persecution – if a person dies, the written scripture may live
Missionary Zeal – to spread hope
One Main Message:
“God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.†-John 3:16 NIV
